Transportation to Hyatt Regency Denver

Hyatt Regency Denver is accessible to Denver International Airport (approximately 26 miles, 30 minute drive) via several modes of transportation. All ground transportation services at Denver International Airport are located in Jeppesen Terminal, Level 5. For information, call 303-342-2000 or visit the website and click on Ground Transportation. We recommend allowing an hour for transportation from Hyatt Regency Denver to Denver International Airport.

Denver Airport Rail

Travelers can now use A Line, the new rail service from Denver International Airport to LoDo's (lower downtown) Union Station and back, courtesy of Regional Transportation District (RTD).  The cost each way is $9 per person.  The Denver airport rail has six stops along the way and takes approximately 37 minutes.

Service is from 3:30AM to 1:30AM daily.  Frequency is every 15 minutes from 5:00AM-7:00PM and every 30 minutes at all other times.

From Union Station, travelers can access additional transportation to their final destinations via light rail, regional and local buses, taxis and Amtrak rail service.  Of course, the free 16th Street Mall Ride runs the entire length of downtown Denver, 1.5 miles, from LoDo on the west, to the east, stopping less than a half block from the Colorado State Capitol.

Getting From Your Flight to the Station (Arrival)

When you exit the aircraft, follow signs for baggage claim or the transit center. From the B and C Concourses, you must board the airport people mover tram to get to Jeppesen Terminal where baggage claim and ground transportation is located. From the A Concourse, you may ride the tram or walk across the pedestrian bridge following the signs to the terminal.

Domestic arrivals are located in the center of the main terminal on Level 5. International arrivals is located at the north end of the terminal. Baggage claim is also located on Level 5. To get to Denver Airport Station, follow signs to the "Transit Center" and proceed to the south end of the main terminal on Level 5 (located under the large American flag). Exit the terminal through the sliding glass doors and take the escalator located in the center of the plaza down to Level 1.

Tickets for the A Line may be purchased at the ticket vending machines located on the train platform using cash or credit cards

Getting From the Station to Your Flight (Departure)

When you arrive at the airport, the train or bus will come to a stop at Denver Airport Station on Level 1 of the airport's Transit Center, under the Westin Denver International Airport.

To catch your flight, you will need to take the escalator from the train platform to Level 5. The escalator is located in the middle of station, between the bus gates and the train platform. Additionally, elevators are located on either end of the station.

The escalator will carry you to the new open-air plaza on Level 5, directly across from the TSA security checkpoint on the south end of the terminal.

Proceed through the sliding glass doors to enter Jeppesen Terminal.

Passengers may drop off their luggage at the convenient bag drop location on level 1 of the transit center. The bag drop service is currently supported by United Airlines, Delta Airlines, American Airlines and Southwest Airlines, with other carriers coming soon.

Passengers are also able to print boarding passes for participating airlines – which includes United, Southwest, British Airways, Lufthansa and Icelandair – at one of six self-serve boarding pass kiosks.
